Hello Dr. Q,

Last month I got my "peak" fertility status on the monitor on CD 14.It was the day after I got ewcm.

But this month I have no cm at all.I am on CD 13,monitor is how "high" since last 3 days.

I didn't take EPO this month ,this is my third round of clomid..What could be the reason.i have no cm means I m not ovulating this month?

Clomid tends to dry out cervical mucous...esp if in a higher dose. Try drinking lots of water and taking Mucinex to help loosen cm.

Best of luck.

Kell i m CD 13 ,I get my + opk on CD 14or 15.Isn't it too late to take anything.I m on clomid 50 mg.If I knew stopping EPO is going to affect my cm that much ,I would have never done that...I was my last try for clomid although I ovulate on my own.

Possibly, but I would still give it a shot, babylove. I'm on clomid 50 mg too, and it does not tend to dry me out..but I take the Mucinex anyways as a precaution. I too am taking my last round of it this cycle b/c I ov. on my own too.

Maybe you should put in a call to your doc about doing an iui the day after you get a + opk since you have no ewcm. The iui will bypass the cervix so there is no need for cm.

I thought that it would..but I did read a post within the last month or so where Dr. Q said its more of a lubricant than something for sperm to attach to. If you have some, I would give it a try tho!!!!

i would assume you can get a +OPK with no mucus. Preseed can help - its just a lubricant that wont kill the sperm and you put it "up there" so it can help those little swimmers get to where they need to me :)

Thanks kell,we will think about IUI next month.

I will take mucinex and use preseed as I m very busy this month and have no time to see the doc.It is soooo time consuming. We have to wait for long there.. R u going for an IUI next month?
