Why i have comfort in rainbows..Karen's Journey

Be4 DH and I started TTC i was buying baby items already just to get ahead of things. I bought a country/primititve Noah's Ark cribset at a thrift store for cheap. Since that was our decor.style we went with it. Well June 15,08 was my last AF, and we started TTC. July 17th, we got BFP. Sadly August 4th 08, we found through U/s it was Ectopic. had the MTX injection the very next day. Both these days were rainy off and on. And i saw rainbows both these days..I took it as a sign that God was watching over me, that i could make it through the storm,that the sun will always comes out again...I was so depressed the following months after,specially as the holidays came. I had to wait 3 months until TTC again, until then i started OPKs after my 1st AF and BBT..I did not detect a surge OR change in BBT until December 08. My cycles were wacked out majorly. I had a pap in Dec.08 which turned out abnormal..i was told i had precancerous cells on my cervix...Another depressing thing to add to my trial. Now since Oct. when we started TTC again, i started shopping the thrift stores again, all a sudden finding Noahs Ark things for baby everywhere i looked...sometimes even a stray rainbow now and then. Jan.09 i had a biopsy and confirmed it was ONLY precancerous cells and to have paps every 6 months. Dh and I have agreed when we got Preggy again our baby was going to be named out of honor to GOD and in rememberance of our lost Ectopic baby. Skipping a couple months...April 09 i detected O again for second time since Ectopic..I did a home insem.( Special thanks to Heather(Expectingbabyanderson)....May 10th 2009 mothers Day morning 5:00am..i got a BFP!!!

Sadly we couldnt rejoice yet...Once you had a Ectopic your at high risk of having another..The very next day my beta was drawn..HCG 450...This was Monday may11th...Friday May15th got another draw HCG 2013...Docs told me as soon as HCG was above 1800, i was getting a ultrasound to rule out another Ectopic..Ultrasound was scheduled for following Wed...May20th.I was so scared and prayed hard for my baby to be in the right spot...I saw 2 rainbows in one day be4 my 1st U/s...I think GOD was telling me to chill out and trust him...He was right... Both gestation sac AND yolk sac was seen in uterus!!! NOT ectopic! Yessss..BUT since i have had 4 natural miscarriages in my past..another U/s was scheduled for when we could see the baby and HB. I was 7 weeks 4 days for my 2nd U/s. We saw baby and HB it was 160 :-) Im still finding Noahs Ark things and our nursery is slowly coming together....Im due 1/13/2010! <3 Oh and another Miracle i ovulated a egg from both ovaries but docs told me i got preg. from my Ectopic tube...SO this baby im carrying miracoulously traveled down my 'bad' tube and made it to where it should....
