I have now finished 3 rounds of Clomid 50mg.
Before Clomid = no ovulation (according to blood tests - day 21 progesterone levels of around 4-13), but regular cycle with BBT rise at around CD 19/20 and period 14 days after.
1st round of Clomid = Ovulation detected (day 21 progesterpme level of 70). BBT rise CD 17. Period at 12 dpo (CD 29).
2nd round = Day 21 progesterone 127. BBT rise CD 20. Light period at 8 dpo (CD 28).
3rd round = High pre-ovulation BBT. Day 21 progesterone 127 again. BBT rise CD 20. Even lighter period (but still flow, not spotting) at 10 dpo (CD 30).
This cycle = High pre-ovulation BBT again. Negative HPT's.
I thought that Clomid was supposed to stop late ovulation and help with luteal phase defects. So why am I still ovulating around CD 20, and why have I been getting my period too early?
What will the next step be? I am worried that ob-gyn will keep me on Clomid for another 3 rounds because i have started ovulating, but i don't see the point when it is making my period come too early for implantation to happen.
