Hi Doctor- Why did my RE say I should get ICI sperm for my upcoming IVF. I am using donor sperm. I would have assumed IVF because of the name. Thanks, Rebecca

Why did RE recommend ICSI sperm for IVF if I'm using donor sperm?

Banked frozen sperm is usually sorted in ART vials (lower counts), ICI and/or IUI vials (higher counts and motility) ART vials are usually used with ICSI which requires much fewer sperm
