Oh, and regarding clomid on different CD's, I read that there are NO conclusive studies on the matter.
Why are different cycle days prescribed for patients?

My sister takes clomid days 2-6. My doctor told me to take it 5-9. I have heard more twins are conceived the earlier you start clomid. Is this true? And what about the milligrams? The higher the dose, the most likely twins occur? I'm confused. Please help!
depends on why you are taking it. If you are PCOS patient then you want to ovulate and may or may not make more than one egg. They will higher the dose if you are not ovulating on 50 or havnt gotten preggo in 3 months time.
If you are ovulating but just need a boost they give you the 50mg and at that time you could make more than one egg since you normally make an egg to ovulate w/out the meds.
My doc prefers to start 3-7 and says that it is better to start earlier to get the best eggs but i would assume its all up to the doc.
You can give your doc a call and ask why he thinks thats best for your situation, he probably has a reason :)

The mg's prescribed are about whether or not clomid helps you to ovulate AT ALL, not about how many follies you have.
