who is starting IUI this week ?

Hey Lolita. I am doing my first IUI on Monday or Tuesday. I am so nervouse. I did clomid CD 3-7, I ovulate normally but wanted to up my chances. If it doesnt work this cycle I will do clomid again next cycle then move onto injectables my 3rd cycle. We have to use donor sperm and we only ordered 3 vials. So we have 3 tries before stopping and recouperating (sp?) financially and emotionally as its all out of pocket expesne.... What is your fertility issue?

did you take clomide before or it is your first time ?

i have unexplaned fertility :( and also have a small septum in my uterus it can be a reason for miscarriage but not affect PG ( as i was told from my dr ) my dr told me that i will not have a problem with the septum ( its a minor one ) i dont really want to think about it right now i am too nervous from IUI i dont want to think about that stupid septum IUI is enough for me to think about right now !!

i think i will do the same as you i will try this cycle without clomide and if it didnt work i will take it next cycle clomide maybe i will try it for 2 cycles before moving to injectables

i know this fertility issues are really exausting but i am sure that when we see owr BFP we will forget all this pain :)

I have used clomid several cycles before we found out my husband was the problem. I hate clomid with a passion.

Its true, once we get bfp we will forget all the pain and heartache this has casued all of us.

What is a septum in your uterus???

the septum is like a wall that divide the uterus and this wall can be a complete wall complete septum or a small septum my uterus is in heart shape this septum can make me have miscarriage or preterm labour i dont know this septum can be removed but not in each case my dr told me that it will not affect me cause it is small one ( i live to belive that what he is saying is 100% true ) i was told that many women have this septum and dont know it that get pregnant and deliver normally and nothing bad happen to them lets just hope that will be my case too

i hate clomide too i took it for one cycle it made me feel hot flashes all the time i felt sick specially before AF show and sure i thought i was pg cause i never felt this way before also my AF had come in day 31 wich is very strange to me my period are regular every 27 or 28 days it is nerver late !!

Oh that stinks. So did they find out you had this when you did a HSG or have you known about it awhile?

Is this your guys only fertility problem?

I am so nervous for next week. Im kinda of to the point where im scared to ovulate this month because that means im accually doing it and has like a 75% chance of failing... I know im looking at the cup half empty, but its hard to stay optomistic. We only have 3 chances. are you nervous? What are you doing to prepare yourself?

yes it is only owr fertility problem i found it when i did HSG and 3D dimension ultrasound too:(

i dont think that i have much chance this cycle i am just doing what my doc say specially i am not taking any fertility drugs which i think can increase my chance so i am trying not to think much

i try to eat well you too try to eat healthy food try to relax and be positive and you have to know that 3 chances are very good chances and i hope that you will get pg from the first time this month so lets try to take it step by step

there is many success stories in here that give me the power and help me to think positive

If it doesnt work this cycle for you, are you going to start taking fertility medication?

Its just weird to think how complicated fertility really is. How so many little problems can hinder infertility. When i think about IUI's you would think they are full proof. Its like the doctor is putting 15-20plus million good sperm right next to your tubes waiting right there and there is still only like 20% chance of conception. Its just nerve wracking to think its so complicated.

yes i think i will start by small dose like clomide 50 or somthing i dont knw yet the doc will tell me in the next visit

i am really affraid of taking fertility drugs it makes me in so much pain and very heavy period if it does not work i think it will be my only choice

yes bu thinking of iui i dont understand why it is somtime do not work eggs are here very good sperms are here too so WHY ???? i have read also that her success is between 6 % and 20% why there is that difference i think it is big one

what is your fertility problem ?

We have male factor infertility. Which stinks cuz there isnt very many options.

Im all sorts of bummed out. It is cycle day #13 today and my fertility monitor still reads low fertility. I think earlier this year when i took clomid i got a postivie opk around day 14-16, cant remember. So im wondering why mine is still saying low fertility. I didnt use the fertility monitor last clomid cycles, so i wonder if that has anything to do with it. Im just bummed cuz I thought i was going to do IUI tomorrow or tuesday :(

AHH finally some women who know what I am going through! So I am having my secound IUI at the end of next week I am thinking. The first IUI did natural with no drugs. This time I am taking 50mg of Clomid. I hate how it makes me feel(grumpy and emotional) We also have male factor infertility. My husbands sperm has low morphology. My doc said this should be no problom and we could be prego soon! The first failed IUI really bummed us out though. Time to get strong and try again!
