Who is over 30 and in their 2ww?

No offense to the younger ones trying, but I wanted to start a new thread for those who are over 30. Let's talk about our 2ww, what meds we're on, our struggles, our symptoms. I would like to get to know some other girls who are of advanced maternal age (lol).

I will start the whole thing off! I am 38 years old and I am on Clomid 100mg days 3-7 and Progesterone 200mg 2xday. This is my first month on the Progesterone suppositories and I find them pretty gross. My bbs are killing me, but I am not assuming I am pregnant as I am sure it can just as well be the Progesterone boost I am taking. This is month number 4 on Clomid. I am currently 5dpo. Yesterday I definitely had a little cramping. It would be so great if this is the magic month, but I am just taking it one day at a time trying not to get my hopes up so that I'm not disappointed.

DH & I have been TTC for about 10 months now. I have never been pregnant in all my 38 years and have never miscarried. DH has had 1 % morphology on last two SA, although count & motility were great. We just found out yesterday that he has Prostatitis and he is now on antibiotics. Hopefully this is the cause of the morphology issue and it will correct itself with antibiotics.

What about everyone else?

I agree that a thread is needed for more "mature" members of this site. I do not qualify for this link as I am 28 (29 in July) but I wish you all the best. Wanted to make sure this got bumped up on the list so that others can see.

I agree Christina. I too am just a little bit young for this thread (I'm 27).

I too wish you and the other ladies all the best in your TTC journey. I hope to see some BFP's soon from this thread =)

Thanks for bumping it Christina

JamieTTC... Well I just turned 31 yesterday.. HEHE! So I guess Im old enough for this post. LOL!

I just did my 2nd IUI. I did Femara CD3 - 7 and Follistim CD7-11. I did the trigger shot and had the IUI done on 3/13. To me I didnt think that was a good day but oh well.

I have been TTC for 18 months.I have 2 children with someone else but my DH has NONE =( I have done Clomid and 1 other IUI with no luck with thoses. DH and I have no issues. All of our tests have came back fine.

I am 7DPIUI and not feeling much. Just some slight nausea and headaches. I just found out that I have a follicle that didnt release and that is why I am having severe cramping in abdomin and back. There is nothing that they can do for me but give me pain meds. I also have an infection also which I am on antibiotics for. The follicle will go away If I get AF or if I am preggo.

So that is it for now. Going through a rough time this month but hoping that it is worth it in the end.

BABYDUST TO U~~

Heck yeah! I'm 36 turning 37 in July and I am 8 DPO today--trying for our first. Desperately trying to hold off until 12 DPO to test.

I am going natural so far and I'm on my 8th month (or so) of trying. I have NO symptoms yet. Usually my BBs start hurting 5-8 days before AF is due but nothing yet. I have been walking around and keep squeezing my bbs to see if I feel any soreness. DH thinks I'm nuts cause this is a new habit for me.

I'll start obsessively checking toilet paper starting on wednesday hoping not to see any advance spotting. And I'll probably start eyeing up my HPTs with the urge to pee on them.

Is anyone as obsessive as me??

who is sick of the bloat?? You know, that feeling that a good year tire has found its way around your waist?? UGH

I am on the progesterone suppositories, and am not sure how high to push them up. I don't have sore bb's from them so hope the u/l is good ...

Hey ladies.. How is everyone? I am doing ok. Just talked to the nurse at the RE's office and they told me that I have a cyst. That is why I am in so much pain. GRRR!~~

Kathleen... I hate the suppositories. I am not using them this time but I have them in case I get a BFP then I will use them but I know what u feel like.

Good luck ladies and loads of babydust~~

I am on Progesterone and I am fairly miserable. My bbs...especially the nipples are killing me and they itch. They are almost making me feel raw in my nether region too...lol . So far I am not a big fan of the suppositories. I too Kathlee am sick of being bloated. I only feel like wearing sweatpants.

Today I am 9dpo and I am not going to test until 14dpo. If no psitive by 17dpo doc says to stop suppositories if period has not arrived on its own.

Hello ladies, great thread! I am definitely over 30 and 4DPO and having sore bbs from the start. No bloating, yet. The dreaded 2ww had only just begun...

CanadianGirl, I am so with you on being obsessive, lol. Probably too much in tune with my symptoms and if there are any HPTs lying around they get used up pretty quickly!

Katie822, sorry to hear about the cyst and the pain...

JaimeTTC#1, hang in there, hopefully sore bbs and the itching are a good sign!

Good luck to everyone! Hopefully the BFPs are on their way.
