thanks...I feel great ( i was hoping to have more symptoms by now). The dr. said that they will not persue anymore testing because I feel good. She didnt tell me how elevated it was so I am hoping it is a little and not a lot :) Congrats to you. The heartbeat is so amazing. I've never been pregnant this far to see it before...

I am about 6 weeks pregnant. I just saw a little heartbeat yesterday...yah! I got orders to recieve bloodwork for early pregnancy. The nurse called and said everything looked good but my White blood cell was a little elevated. She said it should be ok since I am not feeling sick. She does not want to repeat a blood test. I have had 2 chemicals in the past and freaking out about everything. What are the concerns with a slight elevation, if any.

White blood cells get elevated when you have an infection. So you aren't feeling ill, but it could possibly be a uti, or bladder infection etc. Your doc will figure it out and give you antibiotics if needed..and your lil bean will be fine!
