Hey docs would one of you be kind enough to give me a second opinion on this?
I was on 50mg of Clomid this cycle and day 24 progesterone was only 6.3.
But I discovered early in the cycle (just after I had finished the Clomid) that my thyroid was also moderately over-replaced.
My endo lowered the dose of levoxyl and my OB/Gyn says it is totally up to me whether I try one more cycle on 50mg or go straight to 100mg.
I do ovulate spontaneously, but my cycles are irregular (29-50 days in the last six months) and I haven't been able to conceive since I had a miscarriage in late 2007.
Any thoughts on increasing the Clomid now vs. waiting one more cycle?
Are there any possible negatives to going straight to 100mg?

Does a 24 day progesterone level of 6.3 indicate NO ovulation or just a possibly abnormal ovulation?
