When to have intercourse for hcg shot....

I would have sex a little before you get your hcg shot. You ovulate about 24-40 hours from the shot, but you want to have sperm waiting for those eggs. So I would have sex again 12 hours post shot, and then again in 24 hours. That should have you covered, but you can have sex one more time maybe 12 hours after.

So for example if shot is Sat night at 8pm, have sex Sat morning. Then have sex Sunday morning at 8am (12 hours post shot). Then sex again Monday morning 8am. And if you want, sex again Monday evening.

This is assuming your partner has no sperm issues. If he does, then I am not sure.

If getting an IUI, no problem upto the hCG shot. Then docs will want one to BD the night of the IUI
