when to end hope of ovulation for the month?

I have been on provera and clomid and it is CD22 and no signs of ovulation i did tests for the last few days and no lines! getting down, what day do you think it is time to say this month for not a good one! as I need to start taking provera again! thanks
my cycles are usually very long..cud vary from 35 days to 80 days long.
First Cycle:
I was given provera for 1 month to have my period start early and I was put on clomid the first month and my follicle size was increasing as it was supose to , howeever we had to trigger the ovulation once the fol was 22mm by day 17 so my IUI was done on 19th day.

My period was again 16 days after IUI and again Clomid and Femera. But this time: estrogen is 120,140,160 and slowly increasing but the numbers are very low.

so on the 17th day after my ultrasound, the doctor gave me 2 days off and another ultrasound. but I am loosing hope. Since my cycles are very long we r going to continue monitoring.

zara- i think day 35 is a good day to just throw in the towel and start fresh ;) Don't get too discouraged- sometimes people don't ovulate on clomid right away! Talk to your doc about increasing your dose. Also, remember to take a pregnancy test before starting provera, Just in case!

good luck,to you, I am taking provera fo 10 days and then 100mg clomid days 2-6? what schedule you on, ? when you get your bleed from provera is it light or heavy? mine was very light (first month). Also is it true you take provera for three months or so consecutively their is a chance your periods may return! I am yet to have a period after giving birth and losing alot of weight 15mths ago! my periods were always regular, I am now back to normal weight last time i concieved naturally but no sign of my periods!
