I am normally ovulating on or around the 14th/15th day... I've charted in the past and I seem to know when I Ovulate in general.. So should we just BD everyother day after my period?

my period came on the 14th of May I am normally a 28 day cycle so I should start BD'ing every day to everyother day starting on the 27th correct? or should we start BD'ing every other day as soon as my period ends which should be around the 20th? thanks in advance.. been ttc#1 for a year now...
I would say do whatever you feel comfortable doing. But with that much BD then it might make the sperm not that good. So maybe every other day till like CD 10 or even 12 and then everyday till 1-2 days after your O day. Are you doing any charting to make sure that is when you are Oing? Or using Opks?
I use to chart.. But this month I am not going to chart. I just wanted to relax and just have "fun" with it. Since this month marks a year of trying... So I was just curious how often I should BD... Thats all. Thanks so much for all your help girls! =) Period should be over by monday/tuesday and back @ it again! lol
Hey Laurie........I would say every other day once your period ends through to you next period. Don't think about ovulation and just have fun. Of course that is super hard, but maybe that will help take some pressure off. Then you don't know when you are supposed to and all of that. With everyother day he is keeping his sperm in could counts and there is always sperm in you waiting for the egg! :0) Take care and good luck! Lots of baby dust to you!
Hey Laurie, AF for me came on May 14th too. I'm already off though. I usually last about 3 days. I have a 26-27 day cycle. We are trying naturally this month so I kind of had the same question. I am going to buy OPK's and start using them on the 22nd and start BD'ing then like every other day for like 7 days. I just want to be sure I'm totally covered. Good luck to you, it's been such a long road for us all. Would be nice to get a surprise BFP!

There will always be sperm in me waiting to get to that egg!! ;) So thanks!! and Dana- my period normally last 5-6 days today its almost gone, by the end of the day Im sure it will be totally gone.. THANK GOODNESS! lol and I am going to BD every other day now until my next period.. DH will be thrilled! haha except this weekend is cut off by sharing a camp site with a few of his friends & family for memorial day weekend! THANKS GIRLS!!!!
That's definitely a lot of BD'ing. I think I will do the same up until I know that I have ovulated. We've been doing injections and IUI's but can't right now due to a cyst. So she said try naturally and we will be in for our last injections and IUI in the June cycle if we don't get lucky naturally. Katie it's been a long road!!!!! After getting pregnant with twins then losing them both to getting my cycle back, to being able to start again, geeze LOL. AF came right on time after this Gonal F and IUI cycle. 1st one worked and got prego with twins and now the 2nd one failed. So my RE said let the cyst go away on it's own and skip this cycle of meds, try naturally and you will respond the medication SOOOO much better next month. So that is what we are doing. It's costing me a fortune and I'm emotionally a wreck doing this over and over so DH and I agree that this will be our last round of Injections and IUI in June for awhile. Hopefully we will get lucky! If not there isn't anything wrong with him or I, we did get pregnant last year on our own so we know we can. That one just ended at 5 weeks though. I sure hope the miscarriages are OVER! How are you doing? Sorry I'm babbling on and on about this, I never talk about it much unless I'm on this site so....
Our 1 year wedding anniversary in on Memorial Day and it's one of my most fertile days! Great week to be fertile LOL. Maybe we will get lucky and get pregnant on our off month with meds. Who knows it could happen naturally! :) WOW 36 weeks and camping, hope your bringing an air mattress! :) And you live some place cool. I live in Texas and camping isn't much fun in 98 degree weather!

Yes, I'm crazy to be doing it but I went to the doc Monday and I have no action with my cervix....no dilation...nothing. But his head was down. So I think I'm good to go for a little while. I think the temps are to be in the 70's. That will be pretty comfortable.
