When should I take HPT?

This cycle, I did my 6th and last round of Clomid. The past few rounds with Clomid, I got a +OPK on CD 16 and ovulated on CD 17. AF always started 14-15 DPO. I am supposed to take Prometrium from CD 17-30 and test on CD30 if AF had not yet shown, but it always did.

HOWEVER, I think I ovulated late this cycle. I did OPK's from CD 11-20 and never got a +. I stopped testing b/c I ran out. I had EWCM CD 17-20 with the most on CD 19 & 20. CD 21 was a little watery. I've been dry every day since.

My problem is... I don't know when to test b/c I don't know exactly when or even if I ovulated. I don't want to stop the Prometrium too early in case I am pregnant.

Every other month, AF started on it's own while I was still taking the Prometrium, so should I just keep taking the Prometrium until AF comes????

Sorry so long!

I'd say 12-14 days after CD20, just to be "safe"....but I could be wrong ;)

I'm confused about prometrium??? My doctor put me on it to make me start my period and then I start clomid CD5. Are you taking it to bring on your AF or for another reason? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm new to all of this.

I take Prometrium because I have low Progesterone levels. Prometrium is a Progesterone supplement. If you are low on Prog, it could keep you from getting pregnant. Some doctors prescribe it using the "Progesterone withdrawl" method to bring on AF. But, that's not the only use.
