When do you tell your Job or Boss you are Preggo!

I am 13 weeks today and am planning on telling my boss and co-works sometime this week, since I am beginning my second trimester now.

Whenever you feel comfortable about letting everyone know is when you should tell you boss. Congratulations and good luck!

my SIL told her boss after she got the ok on the ultrasound, well a few weeks after. I think she was about 9 weeks.

I told my boss very early on, at about 6 weeks. I told her because I had to leave work unexpectedly a couple times for blood work and an ultrasound. (I had cramping in the beginning, and a previous miscarraige, so my md didnt want to take any risks)...Anyway, the boss can't spread news like that for you, so dont worry if you want to let your boss know but arent quite ready to tell your co-workers. I let most of my coworkers discover my pregnancy on their own...by watching my belly grow. Good luck!

I'd say start of the 2nd trimester is good or earlier if you start showing. I told my boss around 10wks, I couldn't hide it anymore.

My principal knows- she was there watching my class for me when I had to leave for unexpected appointments etc before when I was undergoing the injections- and so I just told her.

I think its a personal decision- you know the person adn how they will react. We arent telling many people- bt she has been very very very understanding of me needing to leave or come late, so I thought I would shate it with her :)

I told my boss at about 7 weeks. But didnt tell any of my other co-workers until 10 weeks. I would say something soon though Summer because your belly is gonna pop by 10-12 weeks! But whenever you feel comfortable I would say something! Plus they dont tell anyone else so dont worry about it being spread around the office!

I planned on telling my boss at the start of the 2nd tri, but then he made me cry at work one day. He followed up the next by appologizing and I told him no problem.......i've been super emotional and cry easily b/c I was pregnant. So it wasn't when I wanted but it wasn't too much before. I had an u/s and had heard the heartbeat so no big deal........good luck!

Thanks guys..I think that i am gonna wait until my next appt..I think that i will be 12 weeks. So i will let them know then..thanks everyone for your input...I am just nervous about telling my boss..she is a real b*tch and no one here likes her..so I am not sure..but i know that i have to tell her..But i do not like her..LOL

Summer I just told my boss today! I am 8 weeks 4 days. The reason I told her is because I have been having to take quite a few days off for appointments and stuff and I wanted her to know the reason why. She took it very well and was excited for me. I plan on telling my co-workers next week on Thursday when I turn 10 weeks!

I told my boss when I was about 5 weeks. I had to leave mid day to go confirm my pregnancy at my dr's office. It was such a busy day at work, that she wanted to know why I needed to leave so badly...I told her...

and when I came back..she was waiting anxiously what my dr said. It was lots of fun actually. Especially since 2 weeks later she told me she was pregnant as well!

Our son's are about 3 weeks apart!
