Thanks! I guess "light" wasn't the right way to describe it. Both on Feb 26 & 27th I had DARK stains, but not a full on "flow". It wasn't until the 28th that that happened. Should I still start counting from the 28th?

I always consider the first full day of flow when you need to wear a pad.

I typically count the first day of flow as the first day of the cycle.

Just want to clarify....when you say the first day of flow do you mean the first day of the HEAVY flow or the dark stains?

Yes start counting from the 1st day of heavy bleeding. Not from when u 1st spot blood but when u start bleeding. Hope this helps.

when you have enough that you need to wear a pad or a tampon that is day one of cycle. My RE likes told me if full period sarts after 4:30pm then count the next day as "day 1" but its not that big of a deal if you think you are day 7 but are actually day 6 or 8 :)

So if you have a 28 day cycle, you should start baby dancing the week of March 9-15...which is this week...hope you have covered your bases & continue to BD

Yukie77, u should start counting from the 28th. That is when u said u had a heavy flow. I am about to ovulate anyday too. Have u been using any OPK's? They are good to tell u when ur ovualting so u dont have to worry about all the counting. Just an idea. I use them so I dont have to worry about it.

Nope, I haven't tried any OPK's yet. I'm going to give it a few months of just trying. If it doesn't work, then I may start using OPK's. Thanks for the tips though. :o) I really appreciate it

hopefully you wont need the OPK's yukie - they drive me batty i tell ya!!! I wish i was back in the days where i just had sex cuz i wanted to - LOL!!!
