What's this about ovulating BEFORE getting a positive OPK??

Hello doctor,
I've been hearing women say that they actually ovulated (I assume they knew from bbt) BEFORE they got a positive OPK. Is this possible? I wonder if this could be happening with me, too? I do notice ewcm in the days leading up to the positive OPK, but I didn't realize that it could be because I may have ovulated. Please let me know if you think this is likely. I have regular, 29-day cycles, and I've been getting positive OPK consistently for 3 months now on CD 14 or 15.
This would be very disturbing to me, as it calls into question everything I've read about OPKs. Some clarification on this would be appreciated!

Not likely at all and BBTs are less reliable than OPKs...You can read about the menstrual cycle by searching the word "pituitary" and finding a post I wrote if you haven't done so already.
