I'm 12 DPO. I haven't had a period since july, I'm sure I ovulated because I took opks. Me and my finance BD the day I tested and the day after. What's the chances I conceived? Also I have irregular periods and it making it difficult to pin point when to test because its been so long since my last menstrual cycle. I've been ttc for 10 months now. Hoping this is my month.

Hi Emy - As for the chances you conceived, I don't really have an answer for you. Standard chances of conception with no fertility issues is about 20% per cycle... that doesn't sound like very good odds, but it's *published* statistics so you have to take it with a grain of salt. You OPK'ed & BD'ed at the right time so FX'ed for you!!

That being said, I've read a lot of ladies show + at 12dpo... so imho, you should test with fmu tomorrow. :o)

Emy... As long as u know when u O'ed then u can test at 12DPO and should get an accurate result. If it is neg then retest in a few days when ur menorrhea ( period) is suppose to arrive.

It sounds like that you have Oligomenorrhea which is infrequent menstrual periods (fewer than six to eight periods per year).

I would ask you GYN about Clomid or Femara to help with the Oligomenorrhea. These medications will help with ovulation and will then give you a regular menorrhea.
