Jenn031... U should put a pillow under ur butt for about 20 mins after u BD. Not to where ur to high but just enough to elevate ur butt.

Those 2 positions are the best to BD in to conceive in.

missionary and doggy style work for most...and it would help if u lie down for atleast 30 minutes flat on ur back...

Jenn031.. It is better to to the pillow thing so u dont have the sperm sitting in a pool of it after u BD. U can lay on ur back but the say to do the pillow thing.

After u do doggie style then put the pillow under ur butt and lay on ur back.

I have also stood on my head once be4 after DH and I bded. LOL! I am willing to do anything to get preggo. I just did that this cycle so we will see if it works.

I got pregnant three times in a row doggy style and I didn't hold the position at all, I got up to pee within a few minutes. I also used opk's too to time intercourse right. Good luck and have fun!

Ya know what? I also had a few drinks and was totally relaxed too. I had an orgasm each time too, some say that helps, who knows for sure, but I had one so I'd like to think it helped. lol :)

I think a big key to it is to stay relaxed, don't think about conceiving and try to just enjoy eachother. It's hard which is why I had a few drinks to relax. My dh made it fun, we would have date night, go out to eat, see a movie and come home and get all snuggly and then bd. It really took the stress out of it for me.

Also keep in mind that after my first m/c it took me six months to get pregnant again and then after the second m/c it took me a year. So it's not like I'm fertile myrtle, it's just that every time I got pregnant we had happened to bd doggy style and then I was like..hmmmmm...we're on to something here. lol :)

Jenn... u dont have to hang over it long. After u hang then u should lay with the pillow under ur butt.

No not like 20 mins... just make sure that ur pillow is high enough to get ur hips up. Not like over ur head tho. LOL!

YW Jenn... no problem.. have u ever tired Preseed yet? Some ppl swear by it. I have tried to be4 adn I like it alot but some women dont like it at all.

Jenn.. Preseed is a sperm friendly lub that is suppose to make the sperm swim faster. Some women say that they have gotten preggo when using it. I remember that I used it in Dec and got preggo but had a chemical.

i dowant to try that fertilty stuff that they sell in the gnc stores but need to talk to the doc first see how they feel about it.

sarr, yeah you are so right staying relaxed is the key but like you said it is so.... diffucult when focused on one thing. i know so many people who have said the samething and thats exactly what they did and got preggo after trying so long . weird how that works but it does...lol

Oh ok.. Well the preseed is nothing that u have to worry about and u dont have to ask ur doc about it. It is like using veggi oil but it comes in a little applacator so it is easy to use and it is pretty cheap too. Dr Q has told ppl on here about it.

hi katie! well i put the pillow under my butt and we'll see i didn't feel that much of my hips being raised though also hung off the side of the bed for a few..lol it hurts your head after awhile..hahaha thinking about going to get one of those wedge pillows and try that too.

Ha Ha!!!!! The best position for me is no position at all!!! I don't know what it is but I have absolutely NO sex drive these days. My poor DH!! When I do manage to give it up.... which isn't very often... The only way that even came close to working was me on my back on the edge of the bed and DH standing. Does anyone else find pregnancy sex very awkward these days?? My belly totally gets in the way! Before I got too big I could be on top.

yes i do find it very very awkward.I dont enjoy it because it is very uncomfertable and plus my DH is ver unconfortable.poor guy.but he says its ok for baby.we usually do it on sat sun only.

Jenn.... just make sure that ur hips are not to high. They need to be high but not way up there. I just bought the OV Watch and so far I love it. It is kinda expensive but it says that it works and it has been on the Tyra Banks show so it has good reviews. Good luck with the pillow hun.

Sarr22222-I really agree with you and believe that the doggy style maybe the answer in most cases because your uterus is closer to the sperm from that position I was told.(I hope I said that correctly)lol.Anyway I haven't gotten pregnant in over a year and a half since my 2nd MC and it took 6 months before I became pregnant again from the 1st MC so wow although I am sorry to hear of your loss at least I know I wasn't going through this all alone and did you keep the 3rd preggo?

katie whgat is the ov watch? so about how high should your hips be? say like if you put both of your hands under your butt is this high enough or should it be a bit more higher then that?

Jenn031.. the OV Watch detects the salt icons in ur body to tell u the 4 fertile days be4 O and the day of O and the day after O.

U could try the wedge pillow. I just use 2 if they are flat.

Jenn031.. Did u get the OV Watch? I love mine. It has no stress at all which is great. I found out that I actually O on CD 15 not Cd 13 so that could help me out alot. I found that out today when I got O day 1 on my watch.

The position I would choose would be doggie.

I bought the OV Watch for alittle over $100. but u can bid for one on ebay. They have new and used ones. As soon as I get a BFP then I will be getting rid of mine. I hope that I get a BFP soon. The watch is great! I love it and its so easy to use. Im glad that I bought it even though it is alittle pricey!
