What's causing sleepiness in early pregnancy?

Hello Dr. Q!
Well, I thought after getting my positive test, I will have no question to ask...but I don't think that will be the case. I will only be 14 DPO by tomorrow (that's less than an hour from now), and for the past 3-4 days, I have been really sleepy. I can sleep while sitting down on the sofa! I was embarrassed at my in-laws' house today because I just fell asleep while watching T.V. in their living room! haha! I am just curious what is the scientific explanation to that.
