what would you do?

Hi I would like an honest opinion. My story is I have a 3 yo conceved naturally. Had a miscarriage earlier this year also conceived naturally. I am 34yo. My obgyn does not want to prescribe anything to help me get pregnant. Due to my age i got a ref to see a RE. He also does not want to help at this stage. He did order some blood tets for me and a SA for my husband. We will be seeing him fot the results. Should i persist and ask for clomid? They both make out that I am not that old, But from all the info I HAVE LEARNT from this site i feel like I am.

Sorry this is so long but i just want to be pregnant.

If all the tests come back that there isn't anything wrong and you have been trying on your own for a while, I think 1year for under 35 6months for over 35 then you might want to be persistent with RE. Good luck! I am 36 and have done all the tests which came back good- unexplained infertility. We have tried 3 months of clomid and 2 IUIs with injections and still trying for over 1 year. Good luck!!!

Tina, I'm very happy for you--congrats on your BFP!!!! Would like more info on your suggestions for timing because I have been using ovulation kits for over a year, ovulate and get AF like clockwork and still can't seem to make it happen so just curious on your thoughts of it all coming down to knowing your body and timing any help we can get for those with success stories is always welcome :O) thanks

I agree with your RE, but if you've been trying for a few months, you could always persuade your RE to give you clomid as you're almost 35 and let him/her know that

your RE should however go over any potential risks that may be associted in your case prior to releasing Clomid, if it's released
