WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I TAKE THE CLOMID

Hey Caryn...miss ya! Sorry about last month. My OB didn't think it would work for me and she didn't lie. Since my IVF failed in Feb I took clomid 2x and tried femara all a bust. I would be concerned about the cyst thing. Clomid varies by DR some do cd 3-7, some cd 4-8 and some cd5-9. I say don't drive yourself crazy maybe take the time to relax your system and start w/RE again since it is a more evasive approach.

Lots of women take clomid w/o being checked for cysts. I would not take the ovidrel shot but just use opk's.

Because you would already be surging and the shot would be pointless.

oh.... What if I know I am about to surge..like Ovulate on CD 12.. and they had me do the shot last month on CD 10.. could I just do the same thing?

Each cycle could be different. Without monitoring you could have way too many follicles, that with the ovidrel would release. That is why its not recommended.

Yes, the only way you wouldnt O on your own is if you had a very large cyst.
