Bekah.. Did u use a trigger shot or anything bc a trigger shot can give u a false BFP? If not then congrats on the BFP!

As for what u can do.. There really is nothing that u can do but just wait as a regular OB/GYN will not see u until ur about 6 weeks pregnant unless ur high risk. If ur seeing a RE then they will want u to come in to get a beta (quantitative test) done to see what ur HCG # is. If u are seeing a RE then i would call them and advise them that u got a faint + HPT and see if they want u to wait until u return home or go to a local facility to have ur beta done.

Also if ur seeing a OB/GYN then u can call them and advise them that u got a + HPT so they can go ahead and schedule a appt for u.

U can also keep doing HPT's until u get home to see if the line is getting darker. Alot of women do that just to see if their #'s are rising.

A RE is a reproductive endocrinologist. They spealize in infertility and things like that.

Question- so I took a shower this afternoon and I had some spotting mixed with some snotty cm. Been cramping a little today. Is this something to worry about? Could my early bfp mean multiples? Wow I have so many questions! Please help! I'm stressing! :)

Some women do spot in early pregnancy. This doesn't mean that u will have multiples though. Some cramping is normal also.

As long as it is not severe cramping and bleeding like a normal AF or with clots then ur ok. If this happens then u need to go to the dr.

No need to stress. That will not do anything good for u and ur baby. Try to rest as much as u can. Did u tell ur DH yet?

Hey Katie! Thanks so much. That clears up a lot. I put in a softcup last night to see how much more I would spot and when I took it out a few hours later it had stopped and there was just a little blood in some cm. Not worried anymore.

Just told dh last night after dinner. He's working today so he's excited to tell the company!

One more question... A little tmi... Are orgasms safe in early pregnancy? I couldn't find any information on that.

Bekah.. Aww im glad that u told ur DH and he is excited to tell his company =) That is awesome!!! How r u feeling? Glad to hear that the spotting has almost stopped!

As for orgasms... yes it is fine but there are alot of ppl that will no have intercourse until after the 1st trimester. When doing IUI or IVF they are admit that u dont have intercourse until 12 wks. But OB's say that its fine. I really think that its up to the person unless ur dr says no intercourse. For me.. When I get my BFP again I will not have intercourse. I didnt have it when I got my BFP in June.

If ur still spotting then I would say NO. Just bc it could irrate the cervix more.

No questions are to much =) Im in medical school so I have seen and heard it all. LOL!

Hey Katie! Thanks for checking in! These past few weeks have seriously been crazy! I saw the ob and she said everything was great! However, I haven't been experiencing any symptoms. It's starting to worry me. My bbs hurt but I haven't had any morning sickness or anything. I read in a parenting magazine that the more symptoms you have the better because it means that hcg levels are high. I'm a little worried bc my last pregnancy with twins, i was deathly sick. I was nausous every morning and I had food cravings and aversions, my bbs hurt so bad i had to wear two sports bras and I was absolutely exhausted. I'm a little worried. I wonder if it was because it was twins, and this is my 2nd pregnancy???? I'm obviously not sure if this is twins or not yet since I'm only about 6 weeks. But I did have a dream I had twin boys last night...
