My age is 27. I have been confirmed that I am pregnant by 1 week. Dr says my prolactin level is slightly high at borderline to normal level. Will this prolactin affects my baby.What is the normal level of prolactin during pregnancy(First trimester)? Should I take any medicines to control prolactin. will there be any sideeffects is I take medicines to control prolactin

In particular, the decidua of the pregnancy produces Prolactin which will elevate Prolactin levels, and are not indicative of the Prolactin levels we monitor that arise from the pituitary (brain)
Medications are thus seldom recommended unless there are severe symptoms, such as severe headaches and visual disturbances (ie the pituitary in the brain becomes so big that it compresses the optic nerves (eyes) and pushes against the head (headaches)
Prolactin levels although normally elevated during pregnancy, should have little to no effect on the Pregnancy
