What's the difference between daily and weekly progesterone shots?

I was on daily for ivf..but now at 16 wks we are going to start weekly until wk 36 to try and prevent another premie baby. What is the difference between the daily and weekly? Are there any additives in the shot or risks?

This is a slightly different formulation of Progesterone, and if given to prevent premature birth..

Unlike Progesterone given earlier which is given in particular to IVF patients that are at high risk of not producing enough Progesterone during the first trimester
