"their mechanism of action is completely different (clomid keeps the brain from noting there's Estrogen around, triggering it to produce more FSH to make eggs vs Femara prevents the conversion of Testosterone to Estrogen...the lower Estrogen is sensed by the brain and triggers more FSH to compensate). Femara may be slightly superior to Clomid for ovulation induction and think will be good to try and we won't know your body's response until you try. I would be checked a little earlier for follicular response by your RE as a suggestion"
