I have been told by several people and read several articles that say if clomid is going to work that it will work within the first three months.
I am on clomid because before I had to go back on BC (while I got my thyroid issues straightened out) I had TTC for over year with no results. Then when I came off of the BC I O'ed on my own, but my LP was getting longer and longer. I've been on 50mg of clomid for the past four months and we haven't gotten pregnant. My OB/GYN looked at my charts and agreed that we BDed on the correct days. What I am wondering is if I still have a chance or if I should take the next two cycles off and wait to be referred to the RE in March?
I'm really depressed and worried about this but my OB/GYN doesn't think it is an issue. When I brought the idea that something else might be wrong up he basically said if this doesn't work then they are going to bring in the heavy artillery (follistatin, etc) at the RE's office. I felt like he was trying to bully me into finishing up the 6 rounds of clomid.
