What are the injectable names for iui cycles?

January 18, 2008

Hi

I've read a lot of different names of injectable meds..but not sure which would be the ones that are used for iui cycles. Can someone please tell me the names? I am trying to see if they are covered in my 'inf' coverage, but the ins. co. needs direct names.

Thanks so much!

There are several injectable gonadotropins available in the USA, and I have broken them down into the types of Gonadotropins along with the makers of them...

Recombinant Gonadotropins:

Organon Pharmaceuticals makes "Follistim"

Serono Pharmaceuticals makes "Gonal-F"

Human Menopausal Gonadotropins:

Ferring Pharmaceuticals makes

"Bravelle" - highly purified

"Menopur"

"Repronex"
