What are possible reasons for no periods??

hi rea i guess wer on the same path....m ttc too but hav not been able to do so over the past 1.5 yrs...had one but that had to be terminated too..hope we fing out reasons soon

If your periods are irregular then obviously something is not "

normal" right? Esp with your PMS, if you ovulated you should get a period 14 days later unless there is a cyst or something in there. I would ask your Dr to do an Ultrasound. Now, if you have regular periods and still no pregnancy then your Dr can say everything is "norma;" and you have unexplained infertility. Obviously something is missing. What are the tests done so far? I would move away from an Ob and see an RE.

Is your uterus tilted? A tilted uterus can cause painful sex in certain positions, requirement for you to have a pillow under your bottom during an internal u/s due to angle problem, and a couple other things.

There is no need to worry about a tilted uterus (so I'm told); however, it is nice to know why, imo.

There are other conditions that can cause painful sex. I'm sure Dr. Q or someone else here can help elaborate on those conditions.

Hi~I too am in the same boat. I did not get my period on my own for 5 months did a cycle of provera (it worked) but then nothing again for 2 months, I did provera again, (it worked)and now nothing except strange feelings in bb and sharp pains in right ovary. I guess its time to go back to the doc. Please keep me updated on your journey. It's nice to be able to talk with people that understand.

Rea, I'm late too and getting a BFN. I'm usually on time (though the length of my cycle varies from 29 to 36 days), but the last few months I've been very late. One month I was stressed, but now I'm guessing its because I'm ttc and that is messing with my body...?
