What are PGD with IVF sucess rates?

I have a question about PGD(Preimplation Gentic Diagnosis). I need PGD w/IVF to try and prevent chromosome 9 inversion(dh & I both have this)from transfering to our baby(next time we TTC since already pregnant which I'm not sure if this baby has it or not yet)because it causes miscarraige or minor to major birth defects. Well my question is how sucessful would this be for us as far as success rates go? Would this procedure damage our embryos? I have suffered recurrent miscarriages(6 miscarriages)and want to avoid spending money on IVF(I have to have IVF next time, IUI is not an option since my right fallopain tube is non-functioning due to past ectopic)just to have it end in M/C(miscarriage).

PGD is relatively good at determining which embryos will contain these inversions. If both of you carry it, then high likelyhood most of the embryos will also have them, a geneticist can better specify.

The pregnancy rates are only slightly diminished after PGD is performed for IVF
