I am on my first round of Clomid as well. Think I finally got my positive ovulation test today on CD19.
The past few days I have had a sharp shooting pain across my lower stomach - it only lasts a second, so I'm hoping it's normal, like yourself!
The doctor told me to phone if I felt really ill, bad cramps, nausea etc.
Have you ovulated yet? Good luck!
Just wondered if anyone else had this?
You need to understand how the OPK works.
Every month, during the first half of your cycle (the follicular phase), your ovaries are growing follicles. When it comes time to ovulate, you will have a sudden increase in LH. This is the hormone that is detected by the OPK. When you get the surge, you will ovulate within 12-36 hours. Your LH may remain high, even after ovulation, but regardless, you will ovulate 12-36 hours after the FIRST POSITIVE OPK.
My suggestion, from Dr. Q a couple years ago... STOP TESTING after the first + OPK. You're just wasting money on test strips after that.
