Weird bleeding.

TMI alert: When I went to the bathroom there's this pink and brownish dishcharge. It's not like normal AF in that it's sticky-almost like CM. I'm not thinking this is a sign of pregnancy unless my ovulation slipped under my radar. Could this be a sign of ovulation? I'm not taking any fertility medication, taking 1500 mg of Metformin. Thanks!

Hi Kate,

If you're on Metformin, chances are you were placed on this because of PCOS, unless you're a diabetic, which means that it can, but poorly does, help you to ovulate when taken alone (please see site for ovulatory rates). Ovulation usually has this egg white cervical mucus (ewcm) cosistency to it and comes about right before ovulation. This type of brownish discharge isn't necessarily ovulation, but sounds more like some breakthrough bleeding.
