Vaginal prolapse Cystocele and Rectocele 3rd degree effects on fertility?

BUMP!

Cystocele aka fallen bladder can be corrected via surgery and the out look is very good for more pregnancies once that is corrected and also Rectocele 3rd degree can be corrected via surgery and excerise per the area.

I say but I'm not a dr yet (I'm in medical school-lol) is very good. I have seen this types of situations and the outcome is excellent.

yep you will just get it corrected very simple process this does to occur esp the Cystocele with many pregnancies because of childbirth and the wall that "hold" this areas are just weaken over time also. more common than you know I hate to say this but we do see this in our over 50 patients. pls I'm not saying you are old. lol!!!

Rectocele 3rd degree is just basically caused by the same thing childbirth. gotta love being a woman and just a herniation of the rectum into the vagina. that can be corrected by surgery also and to keep it strong exercise in that area. let me find some information for you per this site I use. brb

Thank you so much mojito, I feel so horrible this has happened to me. I'm only 25 and turning 26 soon! This was only my 2nd child and my 1st was several years ago. I tore w/them both, is that something that could contribute to this? Also, I have heard that women should wait till they are done having children before having sugery. If I were to conceive before 1 year pp from this what would happen? Just curious?

that site is down try using google and search for pelvic excerises for Cystocele and Rectocele 3rd degree and also speak with your dr about finding a good specialist that is deals with such cases in your age bracket that is very important.

it's ok dear these things happen and each case is so very different. I would seek help and see what can be done because it can be uncomfty with intercourse and other things. Then go from there. I'm so proactive now I would get it fixed but that's me plus you will feel better about yourself also.

Can my OB do this for me? do I need a diffent specialist for my age group?
