Haania~ I used to get UTI's 2 or 3 times a month. Some things to remember to help prevent them is make sure you are urinating after everytime you have sex, when you wipe be sure to wipe from front to back, have your other clean himself before you have sex, and try using Olay body wash as it is a non-soap formula that can help keep retain moisture.

I had to end up going to a Urologist to find out why I was having them and how to stop it from happening. I was told that most women get frequent UTI's because the glands around the urethra become dry and there for become inflammed which makes it easier for the e. coli bacteria to get into the Urinary Tract. I had a few herbal injections in the glands and was perscribed Hydralazine to be taken at night. I have not had a UTI for almost a year now!

Make sure that you keep track of how often you get them and make your doctor aware how frequent you get them everytime you go in. A lot of doctors will refer you to a Urologist if you have more then 4 in one year.

I hope this helps and I hope you find a solution soon! I know how painful and annoying they can be!!
