Using Amoxicillin for UTI

Yes, its safe. I had a UTI and my doctor put me on it. I'm also on it now because I had a kidney stone and they want to make sure I don't get an infection. I will be on it until I deliver (5 weeks away).

Yes, any cillins or mycins are safe during pregnancy.

I had severe cramping with the Amoxicillin, so dr has put me on Nicef (Cefradine). This is apparently also safe for use during ttc or pregnancy - do you agree? Also, do you think there will be any negative side-effects from switching (without finishing one course) from Amoxicillan to the Cefradine?

I'm on an antibiotic that doesn't end in the above that Dr.Eva mentioned and my doctor reassured me she uses it all the time and its completely safe.
