two periods in a month?

I just started my period on July 1st. It was a usual period for me. My periods are always regular about 28 days.

I have been having light bleeding again since the 16 just really light.

Does anyone have an idea of what can be going on? Should I go in and get checked?

Hi Leann! Light bleeding is not considered a true period. Many women do experience what is called "breakthough bleeding" and sometimes it cannot be explained why. However in many cases if the "spotting" and/or "light bleeding" last more than 3 days I would advise you to see your dr so they can examine you because they would have your medical history and run some test but like I wrote before many times this type of bleeding cannot be explained.
