tubal blockage

My doctor has not done an HSG on me to check for a tubal blockage because he said I would have symptoms if my tubes were blocked?

My ttc symtoms so far are ttc 13months, irregular cycles 30 - 45 days, and heavy bleeding during monthlies.

Is it true that you would have symptoms other than not having concieved?

One never has symptoms if their tubes are blocked...and if ttc for >1yr, then an HSG is warranted

thanks, Dr. Q, that is what I thought. I think I will phone for an appointment with a diff Doc tomorrow... I don't want to mess around any longer.

Rachel~ Seek another dr! Both my tubes are/were blocked and I had NO symptoms except ofcourse ttc for 15 months :)

i had hsg 6 weeks ago both tubes were open ive been trying for 12 moths next month will be 13 months ive had all the test and bf has been tested and all test are fine for the first 6 months of ttc i did have raised prolactin but bk to normal normal now am only 23
