ttc too soon or not? DR

Hi Chas,

If you are emotionally ready to try again you should go ahead. i had a miscarriage in March and got pregnant again the very next cycle unfortunatly i also lost that baby but i have had three misarriages in a row so its a problem with me. I was told after my first miscarriage that i had as much as a chance having a healthy pregnancy as someone that hasnt had a miscarriage.

And yes it is supposed to be true that you are very fertile after having a miscarriage...

Thanks Andrea, I hope this is true, I have read on other threads that the being more fertile is not true....

I am just wanting to have all my facts correct before having the talk w/dh.

I've heard that if you MC naturally, it's ok. But if you had to have a D&C, you should wait.

yup, you are all ok to start. With an early m/c your body heals quickly so if you are ready emotionally then get going!!! lol!

I want to but I think my dh and his family will not be ready....

I want him happy and ok with it, but I am sure that if his fam gets word that I want to start trying again they might not agree. Then again if I talk to him and he is ok with it, we do not have to say anything to anyone yet

It is just hard b/c I want people to be excited, happy, and supportive you know.

Chas, I have read as well I think even from Dr Q, its more of a myth than a fact abt being more fertile after a M/C. Good luck to u though I think if its a chemical and also without meds, its ok..

I am hoping that one of the Drs see this and can advice as well. I want a medical opinion too just to play it safe. Thank you hope, and to all of you.
