I have been on the Pill for 7 years non stop. I stopped taking the pill on 13th August, got my period 16th Aug - 20th Aug (5 days), had spotting/bleed 24th August, nausea and reflux 12th Sept, Negative pregnancy test 13th September and really sore nipples 16th Sept. Turned out that it was my hormones trying to settle in after stopping the pill, but they had me fooled as I thought I could have been pregnant! My cycle went for 44 days...

Right now I am at CD17 this cycle I have been doing OPK tests and tracking my BBT, so far I have had a positive OPK test on CD 14,15 and 16 (I havn't done a test today yet, we have been BDing everyday this month, so fingers crossed! My temp this morning was still really low 35 C (95F), so I wonder when that will start to rise..

Glad to hear it! My Hubby is a type 1 diabetic, I just searched this and apparently if he is controlled then we should be okay to conceive, so that's a great to know. He always says he hopes he won't pass it on to his kids, but if they turn out like him then the world is a better place! :)

i am kinda nervous yet very excited about my upcoming iui. i know everyones situation is different and that everyone hopes they conceive on the first try, but financially i dont know how many we can afford realistically. you cant put a price on a child and we dont have a limit other than our emotional limit i guess! does that make sense?

So how are you doing a IUI naturally?

It will happen for you, as it will for all of us, everything happens for a reason, it's just that sometimes we don't realise it right away.

I am hopeing we can do this without meds but if that is what it takes I'm willing.

When are you planning your IUI for? Do you have a date?

naturally as in no fertility meds. yeah i feel the same way. i am hoping i wont have to take any meds but will if needed!

Update:

Just thought I would do a quick update. Today is CD26 and I am 9dpo. I am feeling hot, tired, a bit cranky (especially short fused with poor dh), soooo hungry and feel sick when I lay or press on my belly. The last 2 days my temp had dropped down a bit but still above the cover line and today it was back up at the highest temp recorded so I am hoping for that to be a sign of implantation! We are going away on Friday and won't be back till monday, I will be taking my preg tests with me and will do the 1st test on Sat morning then Sunday and Monday, lol. I am so excited to test this month, I am so scared that if I do get a BFN this month I am going to be so heartbroken! Wish me luck!
