TTC our 1st baby

Hey Christina, do you use anything other than BBT? I started charting half way through my last cycle and have been from the beginning of this cycle, so I havn't seen a full cycles worth yet... My OPK told me I was ovulating and now I'm not (6dpo)and my temp is still low. I posted a Q. on here for a Dr and she said to just go by my OPK test, but I still find it odd that my temp has stayed so low! It has been a lot cooler at night here and my Hubby has been sleeping with the window open so often I do find myself shivering in the middle of the night - maybe that is playing a role in all this?

My heart skipped a beat for you, you wrote Bfp!! You must of meant BFN, I'm sorry, but it is a bit early but it is so hard to wait! Some people have wrote that they didn't have their BFP show up till 14dpo, so don't give up hope yet!!

My temp was up this morning in the range! But what the hell is going on? So maybe I am not as many dpo as I thought...

CD14 was my first pos OPK, I had 6 pos OPK's in a row, then the last 2 days Transitional period and my temp only up for the first time today! Ovulation is surposed to occur 12 - 24 hours after your first pos OPK, maybe I am only 1-2 dpo now... I have posted a Q for Dr again on when I should start the count from, I'll see what she says.

Not fun, those BFN are not nice at all! But on the brighter side it is still too early, on this site I saw a Dr had said to wait till 12dpo to test but also a lot of women didn't have a BFP show up till 14dpo, so all is not lost. Maybe test at 12dpo or if you can wait till 14dpo?... Have you had any symptoms? I wish you all the luck in the world, I'm thinking of you!! :)

Well I was talking to Hubby last night about how I am not sure where I am at (today 8dpo or 2dpo) he said he wouldn't go by my temp as my thermostat is broken, he always says that cos at times he complains he is hot in bed and I'm shivering!! Lol! Dr hasn't answered my question, so I will just have to wait...

I will do a test on Monday 27th I will be 14/8dpo and if that comes up as a BFN then I will do another Sunday 2nd Nov, therefore I will have tested at both possabilities of 14dpo, if AF didn't show up in between!!

Let me know when you plan on doing another test and the result!!

So.... What happened??? I have my fingers crossed!! Sore boobs is good... YAY!

My temp was really low this morning, right down to 35.4C, I think this BBT doesn't really work with me. I am hoping my OPK was more right, which I think it is because the 2nd day of my OPK I had really bad cramps - that was a good sign of implantaion then also it was uncomfortable to have sex - I thought that was really weird but then I read a few posts on here and found another lady saying the same thing and that it happens to her at ovulation and the feeling puts you off having sex but it is your fertile time...

Anyway Monday will be the answer to that question..

Just thought I'd give you a tip that some of the other ladies gave me whn I firat started using OPK's. They told me:

1. a true +opk is when both lines look the same (both as dark as the other one

2. once you get a true +opk stop testing as you will o in 12-24hrs after that. This way it prevents a confussion in how many dpo you are as you will continue getting + tests for days.

3. test at the exact same time everyday (usueually anytime after 11am I think)

4. Try not to drink or pee 3hrs prior to testing.

Hey Flutter - I have been using a saliva OPK, I havn't tried the urine OPK yet, If I don't get preggers this month I will use the them next month to help me see when I do ovulate! I am about to leave to go away for the weekend but I will be back monday, I will have more time to chat then. Thank you for your warm wishes, I wish you the best of luck too if your not preggers already! :)

Awh... Faith, I'm sorry. AF is nasty I wish she would stay away from us! What is a IUI? Have you been talking to your Dr about it?
