I have an appointment this thursday and I'm so nervous.. Wondering if my doctor will put me on something right away or have to run more tests or something before he puts me on a fertility drug. Can you give me an idea of what meds are good that I can mention to him. Can anyone give me advice on how they usually go about things??

Will they do a Hysterosalpingogram before they put me on any meds like clomid or something?

Hi Laura,

Usually your doc will run tests and recommend an HSG like you said..

In terms of starting treatments such as Clomid, this can be started at the same time you test (just make sure you get your blood drawn prior to taking any meds)
