ttc # 1 baby

Hi There, I just joined the site today as well. We have been TTC for almost 2 years now and it is very frustrating. I think I am in the same boat as your right now as I am 8DPO and have had a lot of cramping almost this entire time. I just had an HSG test done, which apparently increases your chances quite significantly so am really paying attention to my body this month.

Hoping this month is it for both of us!!!

Have you started AF yet or got a BFP? I was just reading your post on the other thread. If you are preggo, ask your dr. If you are not I think Weight Watchers in teh best route to take for me anyway. If you lose too much weight too fast, more than likely if you are like me you will gain it back. Plus losing too much weight in an unhealthy fashion could throw your cycle off.

af came this month but hta tis ok that gives me a while to lose weight

I think the bleeding i had was imp;lantation bleeding as it was light and there were no cramps and the first 2 days were spotting and the 3rd day I had a tiny blood clot and then the bleeding stoped and yesterday had a huge vitamine lid glob of stretchy cm which when i was wiping stuck to my arm and then today I have been havign creamy/clear cm with pink ting. when af is here she is always heavy and i alwasy have cramps except the day she leaves

Hey TTC have u done a HPT?? I think you should!!! Women do spot if they are preggo...But dont think its implantation bleeding coz if that would happen around 6 DPO and i just read a post from Dr Q to another user that Imp bleeding is a myth. But u should so test!! Hope its a BFP.

I have not tested yet as i do not have a test on hand I will have to get one in a couple days and test i will keep you all updated

Implantation bleeding normally occurs a week to a few days before your period would normally start

U know thats a great sign abt ur temps. Do u know how many DPO u are?? U should get a good result 12 DPO!!! Keep us posted.

I have been trying 9 motnhs now to get pregnant.what dose re mean and what do thaey do

An Re is a reproductive endocrinologist (fertily doc), they will access your situation, ask you tons of questions, and depending on your situation and what's goin on they will perform some tests if needed like blood work, etc. Maybe send your partner for a semen analysis too. Perhaps put you on some meds, it really all depends on what is going on with you.

I'm sorry for your BFN, ttc is always such a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs. We're here for you and hope that next month brings you a BFP

TTC if ur periods are regular, then get the OPKs and try for 2 cycles. If it still does not work time to see an RE.

TTC- I am sorry , I also do not see 2 lines.. maybe you did get a period that last bleed you experienced, and it was just a little different than normal.. best bet if you truley think you are late, get a BETA test ( pregnancy blood work) done... **********BABYDUST*******

well for now i will say it was my period and see what happenes

well so far I found out that i did have my period and that I am now ovulating as i spotted this morning and now i have stretchy ewcm Hubby and i have bd for the pas 2 to 3 days and hopefully again for a few days more

I have something that gave me hope on loesing weight and that was not being able to fit in to my weddign dress i was trying it on for the fun of it and I could not get it zipped up plus ii want to fit back into my other clothes that i could before. TTC....do you have frinds that would do this with you? What about DH? If not just enjoy this time for yourself! I like to do things on my own and for myself, it makes them much more rewarding to me!

ttc, have you thought about joining an online weight loss community such as weight watchers. My Mom just loves it and she actually goes to the meetings every Sat morning where we live. She likes it because every week is a weigh in so she's held accountable for taking charge of her weight loss. She actually just hit her goal a few weeks ago and we are all so very proud of her. :) I'm planning on joining once I get back to work, as money is too tight for us now. I can't wait :)

TTC, to ur question on Chas's post, theres nothing called 'faint positive' in an OPK. A faine 2nd line will always be there. A true + is one where the 2nd line is as dark or darker than the control line. So, u need to start testing sufficiently early in ur cycle and then stop once u get a +. EWCM doesnt come and go. It comes 3-4 days before O. May be what u see is regular vaginal discharge. EWCM streches 8 cm atleast

Sorry TTC :( if u had a faint + one day and a negative there after and got ur period later could have been a chemical pregnancy..But only a confirmed + HPT can tell so.

TTC this pic shows the 2nd line but its of a different color. A true + will be the same color. When u do foto processing using software, it probably shows the chemical that is present in the stick to turn a + rather than a true +..May be u can put the actual pic by itself..It could have a second line! GOod Luck

TTC.. u didnt upset anyone we are jsut giving u advice and info so u know. I would start using mymonthlycycle or fertilityfriend to keep up with ur cycles and ur symptoms so u know actually what day ur on.

I totally understand what you are going through. My AF is 1 week late, started spotting today (although I had pink CM yesterday). I'm going for a blood test tonight or tomorrow because I got 2 negative HPT's and I just want to know.

Hey TTC we have all felt confused at one point or the other when TTC, coz we listen more to our hearts than our brains. So, no. In my opinion, you have not upset anyone here. The more questions you ask, the more you learn and the more you can help others, so, hoping to see you again and yes you should get a blood test if you strongly feel you could be pregnant. Aww..TTC don't say that..I'm sure if you give it sometime, pray & go see a RE..you will eventualy get pregnant. If not there's alwayz adoption...there's so many children out there that need a mommy!

TTC.....I don't want to offend you but you don't be so hard on yourself. Please, be happy for those who are getting BFP's....have you been to the dr for any workups yet? If I recall, you have not been tring for over 1 year yet so they might not even see you. Please, don't say such hurtful things about yourself. We are here if you want to talk.

It is easy to get frustrated TTC.. I got a BFN after trying for ONE month and threw the largest pitty party for myself.

Just remember there are women who try for years and years (my SIL for example has been TTC for 6 years and just now started IVF) it will happen for you .. anything is possible! Being a mother does't have to mean that it is your own child (although most women hope for that scenario)

I know that it is hard to not feel like a failure but this is not your fault TTC. Big hugs.. don't give up!

TTC... losing the weight will definately help in getting pregnant. I am overweight myself, I weigh 320 lbs and I am 6 ft tall, I'm a big girl. My doctor told me to try and lose weight, but not to worry if I can't. He said that he has delivered tons of healthy babies to heavier women. I am now 9 weeks pregnant, proof that it will happen. Just be patient... (which is hard) and stay positive. The negative self esteem will have an impact on getting pregnant too. Keep your chin up!

TTC.. u have only been TTC for a few months. It takes normal couples 6 months to a year to conceive as long as there is nothing else wrong. So with u only TTC for a short amount of time i think u have plenty of time. I would see what the RE says to say if he will see u this soon.

Try to be happy for the ones that are getting their BFP's. We will be jsut as happy for u when u get one too. I know its hard to be happy for them but dont take anything from them when they have been TTC for along period of time. Urs will come too.

ttc u should have bloods and see if u ovulate if u dnt use opk and get dh count done

Thanks Greatful. Im not tring to be mean but Im being honest. Thats all. I know how hard it is TTC a baby adn how bad we all want one but it takes time. I have learned that how alot of ppl on here and getting mad and upset doesnt help the situation at all when ur TTC a baby. We all go through the same emotions when we want a baby but now matter how mad or upset we get we shouldnt get upset if someone else gets a BFP! I have learned that also. U getting mad is not going to make u get a BFP! Just be happy and ur time will come too.

Yes I agree I ttc for 17months & now I'm preg w/a baby w/strong heartbeat, I've lost 3 babies..to m/c & I agree it hard on ppl who try for along time...& a few months of ttcing doesn't give the right to give up just yet. Not to mention that being angry @ someone who gets a bfp..is not goona change ur hpt to a bfp. Ttcing takes time & we should all be happy 4 other ppl who get bfp's b4 us. And Katie you din't come off mean..you just said what needed to be said...someone has to be the one to give constructive critaism..if not ppl won't know that they are being hurtful to others. I pray that she will realize how hurtful she has been & that she will be happy for others. God wants us to love our neighbors(or web-neighbors...lol) & in order to do that we have to encourage each other, support each other, reasure each other,comfort each other, give advice to each other & be happy for each other...even if we get bfn's....for a bfn is not the end of the world(even if it feels that way)..eventualy we'll get bfp's or we'll adopt...either way..we will all be mothers! :-)

Im sure that someone will think that I was being mean but I wasnt. I was just saying what I thought needed to be said and thats it. It might be hard for some ppl to realize but it will happen even after all of the BFN's oneday ur wil get ur BFP!

First of all i am not mad at anyone for getting a bfp I am so happy for everyone who gets them I am sorry if i offened anyone this whole ttcing for nine months has been tough and I will get checked to make sure i am ovualting. My mom was able to get pregnant when she was 20 something. I am greatful for everyones help and support and CONGRATS to all that our moms, pregnant,got their bfp's and I am here for anyone that is ttcing or needs any kind of support and hubby and his mom and dad and i all get to go camping so that too will help with this ttc rollercoaster

TTC I'm glad ur happy for the bfp's..it just seemed to a lot of ppl that u weren't happy for other ppl w/bfp's.
