Hi Believe! How are your symptoms with the 100mg of clomid? I have my clomid pills ready but am waiting for my period to come. I know with my first round of 50mg of clomid, I took the pills at nighttime so that I would not feel the side effects right away. That went well (didn't make me ovulate though) but when I was down with all my pills I got some pains after the fact...

Well tonight at 11 30pm will be the third time taking the 100mg. I was fine all day yesterday, however when i tried to go to sleep I was having a really hard time sleeping... And right now I am having a really bad achy back... like period cramps... but a little worse... When I took the 50mg I actually took those at 4 pm and noticed alot more of the side effects.. But since I am taking the 100mg at 11 30pm, Im really not noticing that much at all... every once in a while I will get a hot flash.. but nothing too serious, it just comes and goes... All this medicine makes me feel kinda nervous.. i feel like im taking so much... 1000 mg Metforming 2 times a day and now 100mg of clomid... ahh... i hope this works soon :)

Hi Believe, Is your doctor checking for any follicles? My doctor did not do that on my first round of clomid but for my second she said she will. I have my next round of clomid ready but I think maybe I can't take them because in the middle of my cycle my DH will be out of town! Not good timing for him to travel!

Yes my dr will start checking for follicles on this coming monday. My last pill this cycle will be on saturday night (Thank God). He also checked for follicles on my first cycle of clomid 50mg... he trys to start checking at least 2 days after my last pill... He didnt see any follicles on my first cycle so he gave me a progesterone shot to make me start my period again... I had a period from 9-1-09 til 9-6-09 and then again now...

Oh good, I'm glad your doc is checking. Let me know how it turns out! My doc only told me to come in on day 13 of my cycle to check for follicles.

Did you get your period again naturally or did you have to take another round of progesterone? Even when I took my first round of clomid, my period didn't come by itself after that, so I had to take another round of progesterone pills.

Hi believe! Just new to the site. My husband and I have been ttc for 1.5 yrs too. My periods aren't regular either. What does PCOS mean? Hopefully everything goes well for you on monday =)

Carolyn- PCOS is poly cycstic ovary syndrome. Its when the eggs never really mature...it does cause irregular periods, facial and body hair (sometimes) and there are alot of other symptoms of this... It is treatable but not curable.

Skytime- My dr didnt really give me time to see if my period was going to start by itself or not. The last day he saw me to check for follicles he gave me the progesterone shot and my period started about 7 days later... everything seems to be coming and going so fast.. this is my second period this month.. its weird.

Well I went to my Dr appt today at 11am (which sucked because they are normally sooo fast, but they hired some new ppl and of course today it took an hour for one ultrasound!) My last clomid pill of 100mg was this past saturday night 9/26/209. He did a vaginal ultrasound and said that my body reacted to the clomid 100mg!! I currently already have 4 follicles with the larges being 10mm or cm.. not sure which one they use... My next dr appt will be on this friday at 10 45 am... Im nervous.. although we really want children, not sure if we can handle four at one time lol!!
