My periods are really irregular and my husband and I are trying to get pregnant, I guess my question is, what would be the easiest way for us to get pregnant not knowing the approximate tiem of ovulation?

In your case, you can always have intercourse at least every other day starting on day 10. The best way would still be to determine when ovulation will occur through the use of OPKs so that timing can be just right. Good luck and please keep us posted
