TRYING FOR TWINS! with clomid.....

Hi, im trying to better my chances of conceiving twins. im in my early 20's and already have a 2 yr old boy. i have been doing some research and have come across many couples that have achieved this by taking Clomid. i had a hard time trying to get pregnant with my first child and this time i would like it to be a bit easier. but i am hoping for twins! it runs far in my family (maternal side) and my 2nd cousin on my mothers side just gave birth to triplets.

my question is... if i do try clomid to conceive i know the chances of producing multiple eggs isnt very high, i wonder if maybe seeing a fertility doc or maybe if my OB would do an ultrasound when i am ovulating to see how many eggs i am carrying. that way i will better my chances i guess.. does that sound like a possibility? would i still be able to see a fertility doctor even if im not infertile, and just want multiples?
