Oh absolutely,

we usually trigger for ovulation follicles that are 18mm to get people pregnant. However, your low progesterone somewhat worries me and would consider just going on progesterone suppositories just to make sure everything is ok. Clomiphene citrate is the same medication as Clomid, no worries, and we're wishing you the best of luck, and please keep us posted

Hi Laura,

I just answered a similar question. Progesterone vaginal suppositories are started the day after ovulation and can be made only by specialty compounding pharmacies, and would find one near your area. Otherwise, Ferring Pharmaceuticals literraly last month came out with a manufactured suppository (Endometrin) than can be Rx and purchased. You would take the vaginal suppositories and check a home pregnancy test on 12dpo. If positive, continue the progesterone, if negative, stop the progesterone and your period will start up in a couple of days.

Never hurts to ask your doctor...and as a consumer in this medical field, you will always have the right to ask for something that is reasonable

Hi Laura,

Some of these symptoms are associated with elevated progesterone levels, such as stomach bloating. Hopefully the Clomid worked for you this time. The lower back pain is not necessarily related to being pregnant at this time and feel confident your period isn't going to start before expected. Keep us posted and let us know tomorrow what your Progesterone level is...

Hi Laura,

These are common signs of Progesterone to have these types of pain on your breast and if you search this site a little more, you'll see that many users who are post-ovulatory have these similar types of breast symptoms.

However, if you're over 35 and/or have a palpable mass when you press on your breast, please consult your Ob for a possible further work-up.
