hi my periods started late this month that is unlike my regular 30 day cycle it started 6 days late.i have been trying from the past 5 months .it is not possible out here to get a opk so could you pls help if ther is any way how to know wen im ovulating and the right dates to have intercourse. my last period date was 08.08.08.and last month it was 03.07.08.pls suggest me the days i should try .

What happens is that your body will ovulate and that can happen anytime during your cycle....the best thing to do if you cannot get opk's in your area is to start having sex about starting on 7 days after your period ends and keep on doing that until you have your next period. Along you can watch for cervial mucus that is coming from your body usually ewcm (egg white cervial mucus) starts when you are the most fertile...let me find what you need to look for in cm....

Stages of Cervical Fluid: Post Menses
Stage 1: Lasting 2 - 3 days CM is Sticky or Gummy (S)
Stage 2: Lasting 2- 4 days: CM is Creamy, Milky, Lotion Like - Beginning of your fertile period (C)
Stage 3: Lasting 1-5 days: Egg white Cervical Fluid - At this time you are very fertile. (E)
Stage 4: Dry, Moist or Sticky (Infertile)
Now keep in mind the reason why your period was late could have been you ovulated later thatnormal....usually if you are super regular you can count back 14 days (given +/- 2 days) when you ovulated...your most fertile time is 4 to 5 days before ovulation, day of ovulation, and day after ovulation....
