trigger shot but no EWCM (cervical mucus)

don't need ewcm for ovulation. the trigger you will ovulate approx 36 hrs later. you can get a progesterone test via blood and that will confirm ovulation should be done about 7dpo or 8dpo. ***babydust***

thanks vogue! I do have a progesterone test scheduled for this thursday.. i guess i'm feeling a little anxious.

do you know how reliabel the trigger shot is for ovulation ?

pretty much 100% if your follice(s) were mature

they were 1 was 20mm.. he said it looked good.. does size alone determine maturity of follicle ?

yw yes size determines if the follice(s) is a mature size and that one is of mature size and I'm 100% sure that one did ovualte just a matter of time now that you will know if you are preggo. gl and ***babydust***

oh yay! this makes me so happy.. i will update once i get progesterone test.. what is your experience ? have you already had children ? on your journey to having some?

that's good to here just remember that the follic is what carries the egg however that cannot be seen with the naked egg.

my ttc no 1 journey has been a very long road with way too many up's and down's to count however I remain very strong and positive and thanks for asking however we are in the middle of doing ivf and we are very excited about it and should have done this years ago.

oh good luck to you with IVF.. My husband and I are on our 5th month trying.. I'm 37 so feel like every month that passes counts but, I feel hopeful this month. This was my fourth round of clomid. The first round i ovulated didn't get pregnant. The next 2 rounds I didn't ovulate on the clomid. This month however my doctor did an ultrasound on day 14 and then again on day 17. On day 17 i had the 20mm follicle and he gave me the injection shot. Either way if I'm pregnant or not i'm happy this month that it looks like i will at least ovulate. Every month is such a dance.. I don't ovulate on my own. So if I don't ovulate I have to do a round of norethindrone (10 days) to induce a bleed. Sometimes this works for me and sometimes it doesn't.. it's just a crap shoot all along. So this month i did norethindrone got a bleed (yay) then took clomid, got a trigger shot and definitely BDd that weekend. We used preseed too.. i've heard good things. Do ou have any experience with that..

so that in a nutshell is where we are.. I wish all the luck in the world with IVF!!
