The trigger shot will be in your system for about 7-8 dpo Marcie so I think it's the trigger that is giving you a positive on your hpt.

I had the trigger shot and my doctor told me that the shot would stay in my system for 7-8 days. So for you, if you got the shot this past Monday- the shot should be out of your system by this coming Monday/Tuesday.

well ladies am here feeling really stressed out thos month and unable to talk to you ladies cause my computer picked up a virus and it's in the shop waiting for them to work on it..Janet and Lisa thanks for your input but am still a bit puzzled, I got the trigger shot on July 28th, so would it still be in my system even on August 8th and 9th ? that does seem a bit long ,anyway i called my Dr and the nurse told me that the trigger shot stays in your system till 14 to 16 dpo that is why they always tell us to wait cd35 to cd40 before you test...i have to say i did get a bit excited there when i test 10dpo and 11dpo and got + but when i test on 14dpo it was negative i have to say i was devastated..to know that i have been trying for so long and i thought this was it and to get heart broken again ,buoy i don't know how much of this i can take cause between the femara and the trigger shot ,they really make me feel sick..i ask my Dr whats next but he said we just keep doing the same thing that we always do and hopefully it will happen ..i feel like i failed cause 7yrs ago when my Dr told me that if i wanted to have more kids i should do it now cause the longer i wait the harder it's going to be,i didn't want another child yet cause i wasn't sure if could take care of 2kids financially and now that am in a better place and ready it just aint happening ..am not sure what else to do so ladies pray for me cause right now am so depressed am almost in tears but i have to hold it back cause am in a library.love you all and thanks for your support..

i forgot to mention af showed yesterday so am on cd 2 right now

AF is an awful awful thing....atleast when you are looking forward to a BFP...

you are doing everything you need to be doing to improve your chances of getting a bfp...don't forget to be good to your spirit dear...i know it is easier said than done but we can't underestimate the power of staying positive and also letting yourself grieve at times...we just need to find that balance :-))...i am in the same boat in a way - wishing i didn't wait so long to starting trying to have kids...i couldn't help it if my soulmate came a little later in life :-))...
