TRANSFER YESTERDAY 9/14- Crampy

September 15, 2008

I am lookng for advice, I had my transfer yesterday and was told to "take it easy" for the rest of the day. which I did, on the couch and limited my getting up and down..

Today I am feeling crampy, on the right side mostly near where my leg meets my body.. if that makes sense

I am getting worried.. is this normal

I am trying my best to sit still, but I have a busy 2 yr old..

I guess I need re assurance :)

i wasnt able to get up AT ALL for 4 days and i dont remember any cramping like that but like i said i was laying for 4 long days! lol!

Im sure its all part of the way your body handles it all but i woudl for sure try to relax more than you are even trying to get a sitter for your little man if possible?

It may just be that you slept wrong but are over worring since you have worked so hard to get to this point, ya know?

Wishing you the best and a very quick 10 days!!! :)

Thanks Chels-

My RE said BED REST is old fashion and does not make a difference in the outcome..

I am going to try to nap in a bit, thanks anyhow

September 15, 2008

Yeah, the doc said that they say strick bed rest knowing that most people will do some things so he doesnt want to tell everyone its of to do some things cuz then he knows that they would do too much, ya know?

My DH wouldnt let me move at all cuz he knew that i would blame myself if i didnt get preggo thinking "oh, i shouldnt have eaten dinner at the table" or "i shouldnt have gone to the baseball game for our son" cuz im a crazy person who likes to self blame! lol!

Caryn...I sometimes get cramps right in that very spot and when I lay down and take it easy, it seems to help. Also....I have heard water will help with the cramping. Please take it super duper easy and maybe bed rest is what YOUR body needs! If we were close I would come and wait on you!!

well I did spend the day on the couch yesterday, and DH did get my dinner, and took care of DS, but today he is off to work and I had to go in the car for about a 50 minute drive with DS, I made him get in and out of the carseat and we took the elevator when we got into the rink... and now I am home again on the couch sitting.. thanks KEM for offering to come over here, too bad we are so far away :(

I have the day off today and tomorrow from daycare.. I also called the nurse... But I will try water and laying down..

September 15, 2008

Ok so now I went to the bathroom and had a HUGE glop of CM, looked more like snot and it had one small blood streak in it.. any ideas ??

September 15, 2008

i had that and posted about it one month - it was crazy and doc said it was from teh progestereon....

September 15, 2008

Caryn, congrats!!! I hope this works for you!!! They told me that it would be normal if I had some spotting so don't worry at all. I was also told that if I felt ok I could actually go back to work the next day but if I could to take off and relax but no longer is bed rest needed. Mine was on a Friday so I relaxed all weekend. I was also told no BDing, swimming, hot tubs for one week and that it was mostly for peace of mind but it was written on my follow up paperwork. ***BABY DUST***

September 16, 2008

Hey Caryn,

rest up and relax I hope these next few days go super fast for you! still rubbing away at my belly ..I just know your BFP is coming SOON

xoxoxo

September 17, 2008

Caryn,

I was cramping for about two days and had some spasms(sp?) tylenol became my friend.

September 17, 2008

Hi Caryn have been following your post, great idea! If all goes well with my lap will be staring IVF in November. Maybe the cramping was implantation cramping. The timing would be right. Can't wait to hear about your BFP!

September 18, 2008

Caryn- I hope you are feeling well. A friend of mine is preggo and the only symptom that I remember her telling me about was cramping in the leg so this could be a really good sign for you.***BABYDUST***** I will be thinking about you :O)
