Thanx doc q...I'll go demand those meds as soon as I can drive myself to see doc or 1st day fiancee has enough time between jobs to take me (have messed leg up pretty badly so out of action atm)
To wait or not to wait????

Ok so we are ment to be on a break for 3 months while we sought out mine and my fiancee's fertility issues and weight. So after I had chemical last cycle I had the b/c injection only to discover a wk or so later that it was a bad batch and had been recalled (so didnt work)
I have pcos and endo, so dont usually o without help of clomid. Anyway I did a opk jst for fun to see if I would o and the very 1st one I did this cycle came up +. We decided not to take advantage of the + and used protection over the next few days. Besides for one very passionate night (oops).
Anyway Im now like cd40-45 (really sure as wasnt monitoring cycle this month) and think its been like 20-23days since the +opk and I still have no af.
I did hpt last wk to only get a faulty test so went to gp to ask for a beta and he did another hpt which was neg. I saw him again yday as he said to give it a wk and if not af then we would start meds to bring on af so I could start b/c pill for the nxt 2months. We I saw him and told him still no af and now he wants t leave things for another 2wks till I see my new gyno (changing so all our doc's can wrk together beta). Im not sure if I want to wait tho. I mean until af comes Im gonna be wondering if I am infact preg and we jst tested to early but then Im to scared to do another hpt. I had a pretty bad fall yday and now my fiancee is worried if I am preg then could I of hurt the baby from the fall and the xrays (I did tell them that I had a chance at being preg as af was late).
So my question is should I
A. wait to see gyno to find out why af isnt here?
B. demand a beta so I can know for sure if preg or not?
C. demand to start meds to bring af on so can start b/c if not preg?
D. If I was preg what type of demage can an xray do to a preg?

thanx angel :O) well I saw the gp again today and I demanded him to do bloods but turns out he only did progesterone and it came back saying yes I have o'd. I then told the doc I wanted a beta done but he said he wants to give it a few days incase I have only jst o'd. So he said to wait for about a wk, which brings me like only 6days b4 I would see my new gyno so I've jst decided to leave and wait to see the new gyno coz have already been told he does beta on all his new patients (who are ttc) at there first appts. So Im jst not gonna stress about it. If Im preggo then Im preggo and if Im not then Im not, not like theres alot I can do either way...But if Im not then I am so demanding my meds to bring af on so can start the pill for 2months
Nice to hear u got some answers flutter! Since u seem to ovulate does ut Dr still thinks u need to be on BCP ? i think u shud check for preggo since u say u BDd. Yup ur right abt not stressing!!ur really young n just got engaaged n a big wedding to plan!! u wont need the pill to bring on AF since u already ovulated yay!!
I shud say ur healthcare system seems cool. Are u going private? My best friend lives in clayton,Victoria and she says the public health system is pretty bad. But ur gyno seems to be doing betas for everyone n u get the progesterone results the same day? Im going to have to tell her that she needs to look into good hospitals.

hey hope, I was so glad tro finally get at lest one answer. Its actually me who is wanting to be on birth control pill atm as I dont feel like Im ready ttc so soon after the last chemical. Its really brought up some emotional issues with me that I really want to wrk thru b4 we try again plus we want to try get both our fertility issues soughted and lose some weight. So we can be as healthy as possible whn God decides to bless us with one of his angels. Thats why we are on a min of 3month break...
I dont usually ovulate on my own this is like the 1st time in like 12months. My pcos is so bad I can go months and months without getting af and then I can go to the other extreme and have af for 12months at a time (thats happened twice)....
Our health system actually isnt the best. I dont have private health as we looked into it and we are actually no better of on it. This will be my 3rd gyno in 8months. Your friend is right the public health system here is really bad. The hospital waiting lists are like 10months long jst to have endo lasered. I only got progesterone the same day coz I was 1st to have blood test done yday and kept ringing until they could give me results. Im not very patient so Im forever haraessing doctors to tell me answers etc I jst like being n control espesh whn it comes to my body...
